Footnotes not appearing at end of page

After receiving the latest update my footnotes do not appear at the end of the page in Microsoft Word when coping from Logos. It simply appears under the text.
The following is an example:
The title of this psalm reads, “A Psalm of praise.” Rotherham renders that, “Psalm—For a Thank-offering (or for Thanksgiving).” It was used in the second temple in connection with the sacrifices of thanksgiving. The thanksgiving offering was the “peace” offering. It was offered in gratitude for special mercies received from the Lord. In giving us the various laws of the offerings in Leviticus, the Holy Spirit places this offering last (Leviticus 7:11–34). This is probably because true expressions of thanksgiving flow from an appreciation of all that God has done in Christ. Not until we are done with our sins and ourselves can we truly worship as we ought.1

When this happened to me sometime ago it was related to the different paste options in Word.
But I’m away from my computer at the moment so cant provide screenshots

I tried all 3 in Word but none works. Normally it simply works with the first paste option.

In the Logos Program Settings what is "Copy Footnotes As" set to? Auto, Text, or Footnote? Does changing it have any effect? If it is set to footnote, try changing to another and then back to footnote.

It is set to footnote but I tried all 3 and still no footnotes at the bottom of the page.

I am having this same error in MS Word for Mac 16.19, Logos 8.1 Beta 3, and Mac OS 10.14.1
However, I am not sure when the problem began, whether it was with the last MS "security update" or L8.1 Beta 3. It was a recent phenomena, but not sure of the culprit. It is easy enough to copy the info into a footnote, but it can be irritating, especially when conducting extensive research [:P] Still better than pounding it all out with an IBM Selectric during my undergrad days [;)]

John - are you running on Windows or Mac?

Running Windows

I've got back to my computer (Windows) and just checked and see the same thing!
I'm running Word 1810 (build 11.001.20108) and Logos 8.1 beta 3 on Windows 10. How do your versions compare?
As you found, changing copy / paste options don't seem to affect this.

I have Microsoft Word 2016 MSO (16.0.11001.20097) 32-bit. Running the same build Word 1810 (build 11.001.20108) I know that this was working all the way up to this latest Beta update. I tried to change the copy/paste options and I still get the same results. Were you able to fix this Graham?

Yes - I've just gone back to check on my stable platform.
In 8.0 SR2 copy / paste produces footnotes at the bottom of the page.

No - in 8.1 beta 3 I can't get footnotes to appear there whatever settings I apply.
- Windows users - is anyone able to properly get footnotes at the bottom of a page on 8.1 B3?
- Faithlife - are you able to reproduce this?

Think I may have stumbled on something concerning this bug. In Beta 3 resource material now contains a link back to the copied material, and it looks exactly like pasted material in MS Word. If this is the price of having links in Notes, I will persevere. This is a minor inconvenience compared with having no links in notes. [:P]

In 8.1 Beta 3, the format:
42 “We have transgressed and rebelled,
and you have not forgiven. 1
1 The Holy Bible: English Standard Version. (2016). (La 3:42). Wheaton, IL: Crossway Bibles.
appears in Notes and MS Word, with the footnote directly under the text. It's the same in Clippings, except it does not carry the footnote marker 1
In 8.0 SR-2, the same format only appears in MS Word, but the footnote is at the bottom of the page. In Notes and Clippings there is no footnote marker and the footnote is directly under the text.
Exactly the same version of Word in both systems, with the same Paste options.

Thanks Dave
This is consistent with what I am seeing - although I didn’t check Clippings

This was an unintentional regression in 8.1 Beta 3; I've made a note of the bug.
