Help with generating a wordlist
I have been trying to generate a wordlist of the entire LXX. I have Swete and Ralf's. When I go to make a wordlist, I get multiple entries of the same word when I use Swete as a source but get no entries when I use Ralf.
I have also made a video that can be accessed on my onedrive here- https://gialedu-my.sharepoint.com/:v:/r/personal/jonathan_fix_diu_edu/Documents/Wordlist%20video.VOB?csf=1&e=CP4bff
Here is how I am setting up my wordlist in Swete.
I would like to know what I am doing wrong, but if anyone would be kind enough to create a wordlist of the entire Old Testament using Ralf as a source and share it with me, I would be ever so happy.
Thanks

I can reproduce multiple entries in Swete and the more up-to-date Rahlfs (Logos LXX), so this would be a bug.
The lemma splits are different in the two lists, but the sum of the entries gives the correct lemma count for Exodus.

I don't blame you.. Word Lists of this magnitude take a long time. Go to https://faithlife.com/. Under Groups you should find a group(s) for Word/Vocabulary lists.
I'll create a bug report for this issue in the Logos 8 forum as I reproduced it on this system, as well as Logos 7.
EDIT: see the report at https://community.logos.com/forums/t/176597.aspx

Thanks Dave for the reply. I really appreciate you.
I have a wordlist from Genesis-Malachi using Swete's LXX as a source, and it gives a total of 41,863 lemmas/entries. Below is picture of the end of the excel spreadsheet that is generated for this wordlist giving one the supposed lemma count.
I believe there are no more than 14,000 unique lemmas in the LXX. So I think you are right that this is just a bug. But the most curious thing is that I get no entries when I try a simple chapter using Ralf as a source. Is this also a bug? You said that you were able to generate a wordlist, albeit with lemma splits, using Logos' Ralf LXX. That is better than what I can do.
I have not been able to find a Faithlife group that has a wordlist generated from a Logos LXX source. I would share mine but with 41,863 entries I don't think it would be valued.
Thank you again for communicating with Logos about this.
Blessings,
Fix

I've been trying to find a path from the Concordance to the Word List. I got 14,284 Greek lemmas for the Bible text (Rahlf's)
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Maybe this helps: https://community.logos.com/forums/t/165141.aspx

Thanks MJ for the correction. I was basing my 14,000 off a Bible Works article that I read. I guess it was estimating.
Thanks too NB. I do not have a Logos package yet nor Connect Now. I have Logos Translator's Workplace that does not come with this feature.
Could anyone create a LXX wordlist using Concordance for me until the "bug" is fixed?
My eventual goal is to create a union wordlist of all Greek lemmas in the SBL GNT, UBS5, Swete LXX, and Ralf LXX and export this as a excel spreadsheet. But my wordlist feature is giving me issues. Any ideas?
Thanks a lot for the help.

I'm in the process of building it now ... Rahlf LXX but not alternative texts ...
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Thanks so much MJ!

Look for "Rahlfs LXX vocabulary basic text" as a public document. I'll look at doing Swete overnight ...
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Rahlf alternative texts LXX SESB alternate texts
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Basic Swete text: LXX Swete basic text
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Swete alternative texts: Swete LXX Alternative texts These 4 should cover the LXX. The Gottingen Septuagint is in many parts and hence a hassle to do. Brenton and Sinaiticus can be done easily but were not mentioned.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

This is a bug in the Word List document when processing that resource.
BTW, the resource you showed in your screenshot (LLS:1.0.301) is obsolete and will not get any fixes/improvements. It may also not function correctly with some features of the software (as you've discovered). Please follow my recommendation here to switch to an alternate LXX text: https://community.logos.com/forums/p/62682/442248.aspx#442248

This has been fix in 8.3.
