Hi Wayne
I like the idea and the video is good,
But initially the video had trouble loading and then it look a long time to actually get to the point you are making,
I would find it helpful if you could explain in more detail what you are looking for in the text of your post and provide the video link for more detail
And if I understand you correctly what you are asking for isn’t just related to tagging but, more generally, whenever you have a note open in a notebook you want a quick way of selecting that notebook so you can see all the notes in it.
Is that correct?

I will do better at being brief and to the point.
Thank you.
Yes, if I am dealing with a 'single note' - I am looking for a FASTER WAY to open the notebook that it is in.
Also, I want to also be able to click on the note in a Bible passage and open 'the whole notebook, instead of just the single note, like we used to in Logos 7.
Thanks.

Creating a Note in a specific Notebook requires some attention to detail, so it could end up in "No Notebook"; which cannot be selected from the Filter in the Notes tool! I think there should be functional equivalence between Notebooks and L7 Note Documents, but the only upcoming feature that is close to what you are requesting is "Create and find notebooks in the Docs panel".

I agree, as this comes under "functional equivalence" above i.e. it could open a Notes panel that has the title of the Notebook, or it could filter a single Notes panel with that Notebook. Which do you prefer?

Anything is better than just opening the single note and forcing us to manually search for the Notebook.
I really like the way Logos 7 did it.
When I Clicked the note in my Bible resource, in Logos 7, it would OPEN the WHOLE NOTEBOOK.
Thanks. God, bless you.

I like the idea of being able to easily an quickly filter to a certain notebook. If there are any filters whatsoever already applied, however, this should open an new instance of the notes tool so as not to destroy my current filters.

Yes, That is exactly what it used to do in LOGOS 7 - That is what it should do in Logos 8.
It would need to open up a NEW window altogether so that filters are not affected in other notebook tools.

Thanks, Wayne. I agree. This is planned for an upcoming sprint. Thanks for the great feedback. We're exploring some other ways to make this even easier.
