I recently got rid of my Android phone and wanted to keep up with the Android version of Logos Mobile for my writing (KevinPurcell.org and ChurchTechToday.com). So I got a 2018 Kindle Fire 8. Installed the app and fired it up and wow that's slow. It takes 30 seconds to load and about 15 to respond to things like opening a new book that's already downloaded or moving between tabs.
Does anyone else use it regularly on a Fire and if so is this your experience? Is it just me or is this the norm?

Kevin, my fire is not as new but is equally as slow!

Ipad Air 2 (ios 8.2.1)
Motorola G6 Play (android 8.3.1)
Other advanced apps from two other companies run fairly well. So this is not cool.
I just won't use it unless I'm specifically writing about Logos. I'll use one of the others. Mainly have this Fire for that reason anyway. Plan to put it on my nightstand in a Fire dock as an Echo most of the time anyway.
