Bug Beta 4: Scanning Resources after the initial download

Beta 4 was installed with the Recommended set of resources (85 \ 2202 library resources). Then I thought to Scan the remainder of my resources from a backup, but the Indexer showed that a number of resources "failed to open at one or more locations; requiring discovery." These were not indexed, but were shown as "On Device".
After a restart, a download of 880 MB was available, and "On Device" had reduced from 2202 to 2065**. I re-scanned from a fresh backup but nothing was discovered/indexed. The 880 MB download didn't make any difference either.
The first log below shows the scan, but I'm not sure if the download of 880 MB is shown
...
** The137 resources removed from "On Device" status were all Temporary, but 12 temporary ones were indexed.

Opened a preview panel for one of them and clicked on "Download now"
Log file states "Error CloudResourceManager LLS:300QUOTRLCHRCH is ChangingToLocal, but transition state is not cached."
Right click resource in Library and it states "Cancel Download". After selecting the others that are Not On the Device, the Info page states "145 resources selected. Download 7"

I first opened it in a prior restart. Otherwise, at 22:57:08.3897 in the log.

Dave,
Did you have the saved in a Layout? Did you open it up on 2/22/19? I'm trying to get the exact repro steps.
Do these sound correct?
1. Install 8.3 and select the recommended resources.
2. Scan in remaining resources.
3. Open a resource.
4. Then loose the licence to that resource.
5. Reopen the resource
I know you restarted, i'm trying to narrow down what steps you took place from installation to opening the resource and getting that screen.
Thanks for your help.

Philana, I got distracted with other issues that arose after scanning resources, but I thought I had restarted with that resource in my layout.
- Custom Install 8.3 beta 4 and ensure Automatically Download Updates is not selected
- Select the Recommended resources
- Check that no Temporary resources are "On Device"
- Scan Resources folder from v8.2 (incl. Connect Temporary)
- Check "On Device" (it was same as v8.2 in my case) + Indexer log for "could not open" resources
- Restart Logos --->
- I got a download notification
- Check if "On Device" has reduced --> 137 Temporary resources went to "Not on this device"
- Download resources if you get a notification
- Open a Temporary resource that is "Not on this Device"
- you had "loose the licence to that resource", but it got to this state starting with Step 5
- Restart Logos (resource still in layout)
- Open the resource tab and try to Download it
I'm not sure that Step 9 is necessary, but that was what I did following a lot of other work in Library.
The biggest consequence of all this is losing 137 temporary resources from my stable installations.
EDIT: No point trying to reproduce. It happened because my Connect subscription expired at the wrong time[:)]
