The 8.3 "Fix"
First, the good...
- The default font appears to be working on all new notes! Even the ones where I am pasting text from another source into the note, it is defaulting to my default text. Great!
Then, the "meh"...
- All of my notes/highlights appear to be accessible from EVERY Bible version in my library (before, it was only available in the version where I initially made the notation). Did you mean to do that? I GUESS that's nice?!? But not necessary, in my opinion. (I could be persuaded into changing my mind, that it really is a good thing...but it's not really floating my boat at this point)
Then, the "OH MY! WHAT HAVE YOU DONE???"
- When I go to change the symbol of the note (from say, a square to a triangle), this is now what I have:
- So now I have to remember which symbol used to be where, and click that square. Umm, I don't think that's what you meant to do, was it?
The big thing for me, though, was the fix for the default font. That was huge; it will save me quite a bit of time. I would still love to be able to set the default font size, though, as well. Thanks for that, and I'll look for replies as to my other issues.

This is the corresponding highlights feature and can be turned off in the visual filters.

It automatically sets the default to the last used icon.

I don't see this on Windows - it wonder if it is a Mac-specific issue?

Oh I just looked at the screenshot again, yeah that is not the way it is supposed to be.

Sounds like the same issue as reported here.

This is called corresponding highlights and was a feature that was in Logos 7 that we brought back.
chrisclark said:We already have a bug report for this. If you use button from the screenshot (this is the button in the Notes editor that makes it take up the entire notes space) it should look normal, the bug only manifests itself when that button is enabled. We are sorry for any inconvenience.

Aha, now I see the bug. Honestly, I had never even noticed that button before. Guess it would be useful on smaller screens.
