Verbum Crashing when opening Factbook from Explorer tool

I'm running Verbum version 8.4 on Windows 10.  This is the first time I've ever had Verbum crash on me.  I'm not a power user.  I was in "The New Revised Standard Version, Catholic Edition viewing Ezra 7:9.  I right-clicked on this passage then selected Ezra 7:9 "reference".  I then selected "Explorer" in the left pane.  This opened the Explorer window.  In the Explorer window I selected the event "Ezra leads a group of exiles to Jerusalem".

When I selected this the Factbook opened up - but after about 5 seconds Verbum crashed, i.e. Verbum shut down.

The above was the last thing I saw before Verbum shut down.

I'm attaching the log files.  Hopefully this is what you need to check out the error.  This is the first time I've tried to send the log files so let me know if this isn't what I should be sending.

Evidently only the error log file was attached.  I will try attaching the other two files.

I can't seem to attach more than one file.  Here's the last file for the log testing.

Hmmm … trying to duplicate the issue but I must be missing a step or something else.  Verbum and windows version the same as you describe, but I'm not seeing "Explorer" in the left pane.  Here is what I see:

Hi Deacon Steve, I wonder if you just need to scroll down farther on the left pane.  It's probably lower than the Apologetics and you might see it by scrolling down a little.

Thanks for reporting this crash; it will be fixed in a program update.

    Silly me.  You are right.

So …. I was able to complete the steps you describe without any issue.  The Explorer window populated correctly and subsequent Factbook when selected "Ezra leads a group of exiles to Jerusalem"  - no crash.  Not sure what the issue may be that your experiencing.  Are you able to duplicate the problem consistently?

I was able to complete the steps you describe without any issue.

Owning the Baker Encyclopedia of the Bible will trigger the crash.

This has been fixed in 8.4 SR-1.
