If the selected text is a Bible, or other reference, I think that searching on that text should search for the reference itself, not the text. For example, selecting Genesis 6:2–4 and then clicking search performed a search for "Genesis 624", which is obviously not useful in any way. Similarly for lookup - the actual reference should be looked up.
