Bug: Selection Menu "Add Note" doesn't respect active notebook
When choosing a highlight from the selection menu, the active notebook is assigned just like it would be if using a hotkey. The "Add Note" button, however, doesn't respect that setting and simply creates a new Note assigned "no notebook" (unlike the N hotkey, which does respect the option).

Thanks, Philana. I should add that adding a highlight from the context menu often adds it to a notebook, but not one that is even open, let alone active.

Is that Highlighting style in a palette that has an assigned notebook?

Since updating to beta 2, the highlighting is again working as expected.
By the way, when did the possibility of having multiple notebooks open and changing the active one simply by activating the appropriate tab? This is the behavior that was suggested during the 8.0 beta, but for a long time the "active notebook" was simply the most recently filtered one. I'm really happy to discover this "fix" and wonder if it was ever mentioned in the release notes?

This has been fixed in 8.7 Beta 4.
