Problem with "Show more information" option in context menu. (8.7 Beta 3 WIN 8.7.0.0017)

Replication:

  1. Open the Information tool.
  2. Open another tool or resource as a second tab in the same pane.
  3. Make sure the second tool/resource has focus, hiding the Information tool.
  4. Open a resource, like the ESV Bible, in a different pane.
  5. Right-click on a word and select Information tool from the context menu.

I expected the Information tool to get focus and run the query, but it did not get focus.

  • When I clicked on the tab for the Information tool, I found it did run the query and was displaying the results.
  • If the Information tool is already visible, it does get focus and runs the query.
  • If the information tool is not open at all, it does open and run the query.

It is inconsistent, as you describe.

This has been fixed in 8.8 Beta 1.
