Michael Kinch:

i am looking for a definition of a Bible Survey and a Bible introduction.  How does an old testament introduction differ  from an Old Testament survey? Does anyone have any insights?

This is oversimplified, but in general . . .

• A survey is typically a more basic text (for use in colleges) that focuses more on the content.
• An introduction is typically a more advanced text (for use in seminaries) that focuses more on the critical issues that scholars debate.
