Amazing! And by "Bible", I meant that Apple-looking thing with the screen.

Current setup:

Surface book 2 powers everything.  Main monitor is a 27" Acer and secondary monitor is a 22"  HP.  Also have a 42" HD TV over in the corner that I can cast screens to.  Wireless keyboard and mouse.

Depending on the layout, this is like have 2 or 3 or 4 screens.  I splurged, but love it.

Connected to my 27" iMac (with Retina 5K Display) is a 42" monitor with 4K resolution and DVD player.

Personal quirk is using ELECOM M-XT3URBK Mouse Wired Trackball Grip 6 Button, Black on 27" iMac & Windows laptop.

Keep Smiling Smile

It a Samsung 49 inch CHG90 Gaming Monitor 144hz 1ms (LC49HG90DMNXZA) - Super Ultrawide, QLED, HDR, 1ms gaming monitor with Freesync.  (Copied from web).  Does not have speakers built in which is drawback.  I have it hooked up to a ASUS - Zephyrus M 15.6" Gaming Laptop - Intel Core i7 - 16GB Memory - NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (again copied from web).  I think the monitor does not look great without a gaming video card.

The best thing about it is that it has opened up some new layouts for reading and study and note taking that make Logos even more functional for me.

Holy cow! I'd love to have that one, but I'm afraid I'd have to sell my business and golf clubs to get that one. But it sure is nice looking. Pretty hefty price at Best Buy. cha ching

PL:

Interesting to note that several of you still have paper Bible or paper books in addition to Logos!

Paper books work like extra monitors, and as an additional bonus, the paper books normally keep their location.

In Logos, the layouts quite soon start drifting or jumping to unintended locations.

I feel it is a nuisance, but perhaps all others are happy with it?

In this example I started studying Job 32:2, and, after one mouse click all milestones jumped to Luke 14:28 except the guides on the left

Yes it does cost about the same as the set of golf clubs- but I don't play golf!!  Smile

I could of spent that money on an upgrade to Logos too, but decided on the monitor because I don't even use all the resources I already have in Logos.

It really helps with my work also, I often have 5 programs open and it lets me see a lot of info at without a lot of tabbing back and forth.

You don't play golf?? oh my Smile

However, like yourself I and I'm sure some others don't even use all the resources we have in Logos. Funny thing though? We keep purchasing more of them. often on impulse.

I think you made the right decision. As fore me? Maybe new irons next year.

Surprised no one so far has one of the following setups:

Or...

LOL.

Maybe is because of:

How about portable desk to use with laptop?

GaoLu:

Today's Desktop (To save your zooming, on the screen is Blackaby's The Ways of God.)  Location: Lincoln City, OR.

Very conductive ...

Quote out of L8 will follow:

“Jonathan Edwards, some of you have heard of him. He was a Congregational minister in New England 200 years ago. Listen to this little note from his prayer diary:

“Once, as I rode out into the woods for my health, in 1737 … I had a view that was for me extraordinary. [The inward eyes of my heart were opened and I saw the] glory of the Son of God … and his wonderful, great … pure and sweet grace and love. The person of Christ appeared ineffably excellent with an excellency great enough to swallow up all thought and conception, which continued as near as I could judge [as a condition of me, for] about an hour, which kept me the greater part of the time in a flood of tears and weeping aloud. I felt an ardency of soul to be … full of Christ alone; to love him with a holy and pure love; to trust in him; to live upon him; to serve … him.”

Now I don’t know about you, but when I read a statement like that, this is what I think. “Is this guy in the same religion I’m in?” Maybe I’m in the international league, and he’s in the big leagues or something. Don’t be discouraged. He was experiencing the presence of God at a heightened degree, and the presence of God is something you cannot push buttons and experience to the same degree when you go before him in your private prayer or when you come together and go before him corporately, but what the Scripture teaches is we expect far too little of this. We expect so little reality in our lives.”

Some denominations seem to be out of touch with their heritage.

Peace and grace.
