Is there a way for it to include the scripture reference? Currently when I insert a passage I only get the verse number.

Currently you have to enter the Passage reference in a text box. I have found the easiest way to do this is to insert the verse or passage, adjust positioning and formatting as desired, then double click an empty space somewhere on the canvas and type the reference. You will likely want to do some formatting to that text as well.

@DAL When I type in a scripture, it does not appear to automatically create a hyperlink like it does in notes.

While the reference will not automatically hyperlink as it does in the Notes tool or sermon editor, you can insert a hyperlink. If hyperlinking a verse or passage, select it in your desired bible and use the L4 link

Thanks! I’m trying to start using Canvas, but it seems kind of complicated.  I’ll figure it out eventually 👍😁👌

It can be a little cumbersome. I use it mainly for diagramming, though I did use it to create a very simple church logo.

There has not been much development of this tool since L8's release. I am hoping that we will see more attention given to it in the future.
