CRASH 8.10 running in the background
Logos 8.10 Mac OS 10.15.2
Reading the forum on Safari with Logos running in the background. Logos suddenly disappeared from the screen, and a few second later the Apple Crash dialog appeared.
Forum software would not load Logos log archive from either Safari or Chrome

Same here. Automatic update to 8.10 this morning. Same config as Jack.
Repeated crashes. It opens for a few seconds and then closes and I get the Mac dialog.
Totally unusable on sermon-prep day. Yay for me.

Jerry,
I think your crash is different than Jack's. We do have a case for your issue and we will get an SR out as soon as we can.

Jack,
Can you reproduce the crash and try to get logs? If not can you try to send them to me via Faithlife Messages? I believe you can attach files.

Sorry Philana. I carelessly deleted those files, and Time Machine did not complete a backup during the short time the file was on my desktop. If/When it happens again, I will make sure you get a copy.

We figured out how to reproduce this bug.
I feel like I have the same trouble. But how will I even be able to download a SR, when Logos is just on screen for a few sec?

I wonder the same thing. But I know they will get it figured out soon.
Any guess on a timeline, Philana?
I know this is frustrating for you Logos folks too.

I'm waiting on the fix from the developers. You should be able to click on the Download link in the forum post announcing that its shipped and install directly over your current installation.

Philana - I did what you said (installed over my current) and everything is looking good now!
Thank you. Although I have had various issues in my 20+ years of using Logos, I've never had one this big.I appreciate your attention. Back to study!
Merry Christmas to you and your family,
Jerry
