More Breaks in Greek

1) I notice in the Hebrew set that there are very large videos sections, consisting of many separate videos compiled together. 2) Also, at least on my computer, there is no real way to resume, if you close it out and reopen it. 3) I also noticed that some have already gone through the whole set, but there seems to be no plan for one to take it a (short) step at a time.
It is peculiar to me that there does not seem to an over all plan of how one is to attack this project. It appears that if you were going to use it as a teaching tool, that it will require much work to get it into a study group form, and that is not even considering the time it will take to make a guide. I guess I was expecting a slick smooth presentation with a few flaws, instead of one that has many flaws.
However, for the price I think that it is worth the money (I do not plan to send it back (I still have many books on Ages)), but if I had paid the for the full sale price it would be very over priced (I would send it back). I noticed that some were calling it a Beta or maybe I misunderstood.

By "flaws" I assume you mean things like the uneven audio quality in places. If so, those are due to budget constraints / decisions. This began as an experiment for us, so we wanted to keep technical costs under control. There is already a site (or two) under way for questions and suggestions like these.
While we view the videos as our first foray into this sort of resource, these are not beta. They are our first step into this sort of offering.

Michael, although I believe the content of the videos will be very good I have to say they were not marketed as a "first go" they were sold as being exceptional. I have to be honest if what people are saying is true then I feel misled. As customers we were promised a certain level of production with the words High Definition and we were told the audio would be improved.

So did I. However, today I found out why (at least for my set up). I normally use Media Player Classic with the QuickTime Alternative, as needed, to watch all my videos (AVI, MP4, MOV, etc.). The Hebrew set gave me the same large video section without any obvious discernible break. I've tried hard for years to avoid Microsoft and Apple's stuff as much as I possibly could, yet get done what I need done.
Today I discovered that there was a link to http://www.logos.com/learn where I was stunned and amazed to find out that I actually had to get the "real" QuickTime for my Windows 7 Pro computer. There was a temptation to do some murmuring in the wilderness, but I hitched up my sandals and wandered over to Apple.
ιδου! After installation it took some time to figure where the menu was located (lower right corner) and how to go full screen (CTRL+F) and other minor stuff, but there are the videos in great quality. Now that I can repeat the segment until I can grasp what is being said life is so much more pleasant. Such fun! With the menu I can open right back up to where I left off, or simply continue to a new topic. I never expected to open the video right at the point to where I turned it off.
Attacking the project is actually a nifty challenge for me .... and that is how it should be, at least for me. I got the promised resources. No where did LOGOS promise to spoon-feed me. I have to arrange them in the lectures where I want them within my Lesson Plan(s), and even figure out how to insert the L4 online help movies through the classes, if needed, plus decide whether I want to use the basic textbook(s) in L4 or follow a hardcover edition. And then decide whether to link everything other than this series through a PowerPoint slide. This is what I call fun. Others would use a different word, like 'drudgery." Dr. Heiser and Mr. Cisneros have done great by me.
I also found out today (because my RSS feeds give me new stuff the following day and often in another forum) that there is a corrected video for the Hebrew aleph-bet. It may surprise you to know that I've been doing what I do for over 30 years and that I have been known to correct a PowerPoint slide right in front of God and everybody in the middle of a lecture. So, the updated file doesn't upset me at all.
However, my response here may not be what you were talking about. If so, I'm sorry.
God bless

George, ET.AL.,
I have created Excel spreadsheets which show the start and run times of all the chapters for all the videos for both Hebrew and Greek. If anyone has an interest. the file is attached....

Thanks much for the spread sheet, but the one I downloaded was Greek only. But this will be a blessing.
God Bless,

I am at the Airport waiting for a connecting flight and decided to check my email for the first time in a week. I did not have a connection before this. I did not see the tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet.
This will be a blessing indeed. i have to catch my flight. God Bless,
what a blessing.

Are you familiar with tabs in Excel?
Hebrew is on the first tab.
Greek is on the second tab.
Tabs are located near the bottom left of the spreadsheet window, usually above the status bar.
Click on the tab of the language you want info on.
Hope that helps!
It is not clear what device you are using at the airport to view the spreadsheet, if that is what you have done. Do you see the tabs?
May the joy of the Lord be your strength.
