I see the Daily Dose of Greek and Hebrew archives are on Logos:

https://www.logos.com/product/188678/daily-dose-of-greek-and-hebrew

It looks neat, and I may go for it.

I handle the productions for a similar site for German, the Daily Portion of German:

http://dailyportionofgerman.erasmusacademy.com/

There's also a similar site for Latin, Latin Per Diem:

http://www.latinperdiem.com/

For the Daily Portion of German, there aren't a ton of videos on there yet (a little over a year's worth, plus some are duplicates). I also hand off all of the project files to Ron after I finish editing them (since I don't have the storage space to retain all of his archives). Therefore, it would be impractical to attempt to get with Faithlife to produce a commercial version of the archives. However, if anyone is interested in having the material in Logos, you have my permission to produce a Personal Book that links to the videos, as well as apply any indexing you wish. I'd feature the link to it on the website if anyone tackles it. New content is added each week.

I have the app on my iPhone.  It works like a charm!

For $119.99 you get the transcripts too.  I wonder if this will go forward and include future sessions.

The transcripts don’t add anything.  The videos are so short and clear that no transcripts are really needed.

We don't know if the Logos edition of the transcripts will offer more than mere text.

Hopefully Logos will do a superb job of linking everything, so they can show up in places like a Passage or Exegetical guide.

Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

Hi Logos,

Any updates on this? Any additional info on the transcripts and what will be included?

I'd like to update these questions, because I am also interested.

Will Aramaic be added? How long will these be updated? When are they due out?

Wow 😮 over a year already and they are still in production.  Last post was on February of last year.  I like the app better still.

I've preordered, but would still really like some more details on the questions here.

Well I finally followed your lead on this and downloaded both the Greek and Hebrew apps. I just looked at today's version and frankly I was quite impressed. And it is free. Smile

Hi all,

We're looking to ship this next month! But in the meantime, here's answers to a few of your questions:

  1. The transcriptions are for every video that we received at the time of posting.
  2. The transcriptions will appear in the Passage Guide.
  3. We are looking to license both the Daily Dose of Aramaic and Daily Dose of Latin at some point in the future. Those will be a separate archive.
  4. Any additional DD of Greek and DD of Hebrew will appear as new, additional videos to purchase just like we have done with our sermon archives.

I hope that helps!

My pre-pub price is $99.99, but I’m considering canceling it and just using the free apps. While searchable access to these in Logos would be nice, I mainly use these just to watch each daily episode (I briefly watched some of the archives during certain parts of my PhD program, but I am finished with those parts of my program). I also don’t see myself regularly buying new video releases. I’d rather invest that money in journal bundles.

Before I pull the plug and cancel it, anyone want to convince me why I should keep it?

Thanks!
