Factbook should direct me to additional readings - monographs on the person - at a least if the person is in the title; better if the person is only in the subject metadata; ideal if the person is only in a chapter title.

Examples:

  • Samuel
    • Bruce, John. The Biography of Samson: Illustrated and Applied. Edinburgh; London: Edmonston and Douglas; Hamilton, Adams & Co., 1854.
  • Gideon
    • Mackintosh, C. H. Gideon and His Companions. New York: Loizeaux Brothers, n.d.
    • Lang, John Marshall. Gideon and the Judges: A Study Historical and Practical. Men of the Bible. New York; Chicago; Toronto: Fleming H. Revell, 1890.
    • Bruce, John. The Life of Gideon: Illustrated and Applied. Edinburgh: Edmonston and Douglas, 1870.
    • Rogers, George Albert. The Valour of Faith; Or, The Gospel in the Life of Gideon. London: Wertheim, Macintosh, and Hunt, 1859.

This should include the mass products from the Text Creation Partnership (title only) and the public domain collections that are under-integrated into Logos and therefore, less useful than they could be.

Orthodox Bishop Hilarion Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."
