Dear Friends,

Thank you for your faithful and consistent help in the past. I appreciate it!

I was wondering if you might help me do the following.

Desired outcome = In every verse where the root (ελπις) appears, I'd like to also have a note anchored to that reference entitled "Hope" (ελπις). This will become my master note on Hope that will build overtime as I study through various books and commentaries.

I have found all the occurrences of hope by doing a root search <Root = lbs/el/ελπις>

Is there a way to quickly and easily anchor (+ Add Anchor) all references containing the ελπις hits quickly and easily without clicking on every occurrence and selecting "Add Anchor Active reference"?

In other words, i'd like to "Add Anchor" to all the references containing ελπις in one fatal swoop...

Any ideas?

Thank you.

I'm not sure if adding a lemma anchor to a note will place the note in every reference that contains the lemma, rather, it would place the note in all the entries for that lemma in any lexicon resources that you own.

Here are two options:

1.  perform a search for your lemma and generate a passage list from the references in your results--then add those references as note anchors.

2.  Create a custom visual filter that highlights your lemma wherever it appears.  There would be no link to notes, but you would at least have a visual way of quickly identifying the lemma in the text as you go through it.

Hi Matt,

Thanks.

Could you help me with # 1- "then add those references as note anchors"   ?

I'd love to do that in one fatal swoop (rather than individually copying and pasting each individual reference).  Can you help me with that? If so, please provide specific steps to add all 79 verses as a note anchor in one action.

Thank you!

Jeremy Lobdell:
I'd love to do that in one fatal swoop (rather than individually copying and pasting each individual reference).

I don't see a quick way to add c. 86 passages as Anchors.

But you can link the Passage List as a Note i.e. type your text in the Note area, select it, click the Link icon and and paste the L4 link for the Passage List into the box.

My text is Passage List for Theft, which needs to be selected before clicking the Link icon
