Aaah! This is interesting. The non-working links employ a "biblio.at" segment which looks very alike to the non-working links with a "biblio.au" segment I asked Phil Gons about in another thread, where it was of course off-topic. I'll refer the discussion to this thread.

This location would be https://ref.ly/logosres/npnf18?ref=Page.p+69 (this link produced from kebap menu's "copy location as URL") if anyone wants to reperform the bug.

This seems to be the crucial step to obtain a link with the ominous "biblio.at" in it. I can confirm it works for me in the location MJ described:
It may have to do with the old datatype employed for this location, which does not populate the navigation selector field (this was clarified by Faithlife in another thread).
In other areas of the same resource there is another datatype that works. Let's take page 100 as an example (Defense against the Arians). The context menu there gives one selection but two references, one producing this non-working link:
the other a working link, like
https://ref.ly/logosref/Athanasius.Apol._c._Arianos
I'm still at a loss how Phil generated those buggy "biblio.au" links from resources that have no index (except page) and thus no Copy reference - URL in the context menu.
Have joy in the Lord!

We'll take a look at this.
As near as I can tell, it has to do with how certain data types resolve via URL references.

"biblio" reference links aren't navigable (by design). The application shouldn't be generating them as hyperlinks.

Thanks Bradley. Since we are closing in on St. Patrick's day, can I ask for a new feature? Please use a this icon for all features that by design don't work.

It's a bug, not a feature.

This has been fixed in 8.13 Beta 1, we removed it from the context menu
