Can advert videos autoplay please be disabled, or audio muted?
Recently I've looked as some Logos product pages, only to be shocked a few seconds later with loud audio from an advert video which loads and automatically starts playing (my sound is sometimes turned up high because of listening to something beforehand which was relatively quiet).
If such videos 'must' start playing automatically (which is distracting and counterproductive in terms of making me want to stay on a webpage and purchase something), I think that Faithlife should do what the vast majority of news and media websites do and start the videos with the audio muted.
Faithlife, can you please make changes; preferably to not autostart videos, or at least start them with audio muted? Thanks

Hi John,
Good suggestion. But as an immediate workaround, did you know most browsers offer a way to mute or even keep videos from playing? For instance, here are my Safari settings:
You can Google stop autoplay __________ browser and add the name of whatever browser you are using to get instructions.
Hope this helps.

Hi Levi, unfortunately Google Chrome doesn't have such a setting to disable autoplay on videos, at least not any more (it used to have one). I've downloaded an extension that might work, though.

I just nearly got jarred out of my chair (didn't know my vol was turned up), so yes, I would like to second this request.

On Chrome, I use the "Autoplay Stopper" extension. Works fine for me.
