Thanks, FL! Happy that customers who missed out will get another chance to save big on Mobile Ed!
(Also very cool that FL is letting people email orders in advance, to get the savings on Monday!)
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

If you don't want to call in, use chat. Even if you get queued up, it's still easy. Just load the courses you want in your cart, tell chat what your user ID is, that the courses are in your cart, and which CC# (just 4 digits only) you want to use. They can also do PPs. I think it runs from 6am to 6pm, Bellingham. You can also email sales@logos.com

If you don't have a rep, you can use this one: call, text msg, or email daniel.pitner@faithlife.com
We worked with each other last Monday to get you some $100 Mobile Ed’s. As you may have heard, we are doing this 1 final time this upcoming Monday!
Because we are anticipating extremely high call volume, hold times will be very high. To skip the line, can simply reply to this email with which Mobile Eds you would like (up to 5) and the last four numbers on the card you would like to use and I will process your order for you by the end of day on Monday. This is your fast-pass!
I look forward to working with you soon! Daniel Pitner, 480.378.2282 (call or text)

What are your top picks? I am looking at either some Old Testament book studies (Exodus and Numbers) or New Testament book studies (gospels or epistles).

Has anyone taken Moo’s Romans course? I’m pretty sure it would be great because I like moo but I’m curious if he addresses NPP

I know his free online 16 hour course has a section on the NPP. He has a section too in the Mobil Ed version of it. You get less hours with Mobil Ed but you have the how to use logos for certain things which you don’t get online.

Ps. You get a certificate when you complete the course. FL gives you a certificate too.

I own it, I started it about the time COVID19 hit, but only have gotten through a few segments. (only because, life...) however NPP is referred to and interacted with, yes. He provides critique against it, from what I have seen so far, however, it was not a major treatment in the segments I have worked through, I think it comes a bit more later. I like the course, regardless of where you come down on NPP. I like the tighter integration of the Activities section. It's not spectacular, but it's helpful. And, I started using Factbook because of it. That is a work in progress, imo, but it has a lot of potential.

New Perspective on Paul = NPP
Nothing new really, it’s the idea that faith and obedience go hand in hand when it comes to being justified. Read NT Wright or Michael F. Bird to get a full exposure to the NPP.

Thank you DAL for that info. I've heard of it before, and I should have put NPP and New Perspectives on Paul together. Any recommendations on what to read from Wright on it?

The dynamic price of the full course is $80 after purchasing the free audio book. Much better than the flash sale price.

I guess that's because you're entitled to academic pricing. For me the dynamic price after owning the free audio book is still $123, i.e. more expensive than the flash price.
Have joy in the Lord!

Yes, indeed! Academic pricing gives a further $43 discount.
The promotion text just says "dynamic pricing", and not "academic discount", like it normally does for products with academic discount, so I hadn't noticed it.

Thanks Jan! I have the audio and listened to a few and they sound pretty interesting but I was more curious as to the video and activities. I don't have AP so for me it is in the $123 range. I think I'll wait for a sale on that one and get it below the $99. I'm in no rush

logos, especially for this sale, ought to make it possible to search individual courses, vs. having to wade through collections.

An idea is searching for Live "hour course" sorted by Relevance => https://www.logos.com/search?query=hour%20course&limit=60&page=1&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=availableToMe&filters=status-live_Status
Sorting by Bestselling also has many individual courses.
Keep Smiling [:)]

Sorting by Highest Price first can be followed by finding hour on web page (using web browser find to skip over certificates, collections, bundles) => https://www.logos.com/search?query=hour%20course&limit=60&page=1&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=availableToMe&filters=status-live_Status&sortBy=PriceHigh

yeah, I did this method already, but it still required wading through ones that didn't apply to the sale and/or getting me initially excited about one that I then realized doesn't apply. And I Keep Smiling about my #firstworldproblems. [:)]
I think it would not be difficult to get a setting that shows individual courses only.
I'll likely not get any on the sale, I have a few already backed up in my list of "to dos" and I have access to one free course every 6 months. But, I was just thinking....

+1 [Y] pondering (like Mobile Ed text being part of Search All Resources). Albeit my wallet is crying [:'(] from Memorial Day Sale so not yet know if will add to agony although am considering a number of courses ...

Yes that is correct. Your rep can help you with it. I just picked up 5 courses.

Chat or email will work, but you need to email sales. Replying to the email FL sent out doesn’t go to sales, it goes to marketing.
Thanks to FL for including Carta and a Hebrew audio bible in Logos 9!

My new addition of Mobile Ed Courses:
1. NT Theology by Moo
2. Romans by Moo
3. Grace by Jack Cottrell
4. Judges by Block
5. Leviticus by Sklar
These were up there price wise, so it was the best choice for me. At regular price or even at the 50% off they would’ve been not affordable.
Big thanks to FL for running the sale back again so soon! It gave some of us more time to consider what we really wanted! 👍😁👌
Thank you!

I'd be curious as to your thoughts on Moo (especially as compared to the free one you mentioned earlier).
Judges by Block is 5 *'s.... really good stuff. Knowing your library you probably have it but NAC Judges is used everywhere for this course. I also recommend Ralph Davis' Judges to go w/ it. I believe NIVAC was also helpful but not used in this course.
I also grabbed Sklar's Leviticus... looks super interesting. I also grabbed one on the Parables that has been pretty good thus far

I grabbed Sklar also. He and Morales are two people I hear all the time when talking about Leviticus.
