Hi Faithlife,

Can we get a real breakdown of the (many?) differences in tagging (and whatever else) between Logos Research Editions and Logos Reader Editions?

Hitherto all I can find are bits and pieces in marketing info, which together provide incomplete information liable to eventually trigger unnecessary and inaccurate speculation and, eventually, customer annoyance.

Thanks!

I would also like to know what plans are for the Reader Editions going forward. I am hopeful that many more new releases and theology works will come to Logos in a more timely fashion compared to Kindle.

Likewise. From what I hear, I'm inclined to give the reader editions a hard pass unless we're getting more than just  computer generated links. The cross-linking between resources is the most important part to me.

From those descriptions, I would gather a better formatted eBook.

I think it would be more accurate to say that Reader editions are lower quality ebooks.

No; this is inaccurate.

"eBooks" (as an edition in Logos) are produced by an entirely automated process.

Logos Reader editions are still produced manually, just not with as many features or tagging as a Logos Research edition.

That is one of the points of "reader editions"

Bradley linked to this, which I think is as a full of answer as you are likely to get:
