Hello, like many churches around the world we still doing online services online, but we want to use our in-house screens while using proclaim to stream lyrics and bible passages. Right now, we aren't using backgrounds in our in-house screens because the foreground output doesn't display videos, images, or OSB full screen. There is a way to do this with only one computer?

Thank you!

Felipe S.

Hello Felipe!

If I understood you correctly you are currently using the Slides and not the Slides (Foreground Only) display configuration for live streaming correct?

Typically we suggest to use the Slides for your in house displays, and use the Slides (Foreground Only) for your live stream as that will ignore any backgrounds you set and allow you to key out the transparency for overlayed lyrics on top of live video.

May I know if you are trying to show videos from your presentation in the live stream as well?

Because videos are currently shown in the background layer of Proclaim, there isn't a workaround to show videos in the Slides (Foreground Only) output at this time.

Your best solution would be to send a separate Slides signal (same the one going to your projector) to your video switcher and change the source when you are playing back a video.

There has been some conversation of adding the flexibility of showing videos in the foreground however I don't have an ETA on that at the moment.
