Workflow notes default behaviors

Among other things, I take notes in the Workflow to help me keep track of where I am in my process--things I'm partway through completing, things I want to come back to, lots of things that are about my process and not really about the Bible passage I'm studying.

I notice that these Workflow notes have two anchors--one to the Workflow itself and another to the passage I'm studying in the Workflow.  This means I have a lot of icons cluttering up all my Bible-indexed resources with information that isn't really relevant--and the notes with relevant information are lost in the forest.

Is there a way to make a global change in the default behavior of Workflow notes?  Ideally, I'd like to "turn off" the default anchor to Bible references.  A work-around might be to change the default icon, so Workflow notes are clearly different from other notes attached to a passage.

Any other suggestions?

Thanks, MJ.  I'm glad my problem was understandable to someone.

I just realized, the workflow notes haven't been using my last-used icon style.  They do in fact have their own style of icon, a yellow shape that is the same shape as the icon for workflows.  Because it's the same yellow as the system's original default "sticky note" icon, and has some square corners, that's what I assumed it was, but it's not.

So now at least I know to look more closely at the icon shape, and ignore those "workflow"-shaped icons.  If they are really annoying me, I can go in each one and remove the anchor to the Bible reference, just a couple of clicks.  And when I'm done with a workflow (whether I've finished, or more likely, run out of time or just moved on), I'll try to remember to delete all the process-only notes in it.

Also, I haven't used the system-default bright yellow sticky-note icon, since early days of using the new notes.  If I get inspired, I can look for all my early notes that still have that icon and change it.  Then I'll know that the bright yellow squarish icons are all workflow notes.

Just thought of another work-around -- the workflow notes have no notebook.  I can be careful to put my real content notes in a notebook, and turn off the visual filter for notes with no notebook.
