So it occurred to me that Wordsearch users new to Logos, well, A, probably like free stuff (like me), and B, may not already know about quite all the free stuff they can get just for being Logos users.

In the interest of helping you all get free stuff:

1. Consider joining the (free) Faithlife group "Free Faithlife books" - https://faithlife.com/free-books/activity . This is a great place for finding out about free books you might otherwise have missed. (Your login to Faithlife.com is the same as your login for Logos.)

2. Monthly free books:

A. Logos - https://www.logos.com/free-book-of-the-month

B. Verbum - https://verbum.com/monthly-sale#free

C. Faithlife ebooks - https://ebooks.faithlife.com/free-book-of-the-month

D - Logos Spanish - https://es.logos.com/librogratuito

3. Sort of Logos.com for free books - https://www.logos.com/search?sortBy=PriceLow&limit=60&page=1&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=availableToMe

4. Sort of Ebooks.Faithlife.com for free books - https://ebooks.faithlife.com/search?sortBy=PriceLow&limit=60&page=1&filters=status-live_Status&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=availableToMe

5. Sort of General.Ebooks.Faithlife.com for free books - https://general.ebooks.faithlife.com/search?sortBy=PriceLow&limit=60&page=1&filters=status-live_Status&ownership=unowned&geographicAvailability=all

6. How to get your annual $20 birthday coupon - https://blog.logos.com/2015/02/are-you-missing-out-on-your-birthday-gift/

7. Free books made by fellow Logos/Verbum users - https://wiki.logos.com/user_contributed_personal_books

Enjoy!

A thoughtful and useful aggregation for all of us. Added to Favorites.

The Jesus Calling book might even trigger some level of nostalgia for the Lifeway store that was once down the street.

The free books wiki page has a few more links (free course, Themelios, some free commentaries for subscribing newsletters or following people).

There are also several notification services about new free stuff (email, facebook, feed) at the bottom of the page.

There are also a number of collections from the Perseus Digital Library that are free. Go here to see them. There is a Classic bundle, a Renaissance bundle, an Arabic bundle, and an American Civil War and 19th Century American bundle.

in some cases you will get English, Greek, and Latin resources. There are a lot of resources total and some folks don't like them cluttering up their library.

The Duke Database of Documentary Papyri is available for free. Probably of interest mostly to Greek scholars.

While not free, I can recommend to our US users The Library of Early American History ($99.99) which has almost 5,000 documents from American history in the 17th and 18th centuries. Lots of sermons, some feuding over religious matters, and lots more information. My collection on Quaker resources in Logos is almost all from this library. I've added to my collection of Puritan Resources from this library, You'll find abolitionist sermons and addresses, addresses by and about famous early Americans, and much more. If you have the time and are interested in US history, you will find it highly interesting.

As a long time Logos Owner I find this helpful as well. I know about 'book of the month' but the remaining information is generally new. This is probably my fault because I just bin Logos emails because they are mainly advertising which I find annoying particularly the daily volume.

WordSearch had a 'free weekly book' and sometimes more so I guess it is more than offset.

It certainly helps! I've picked up a bunch of very useful stuff for free over the years, and other stuff that has since served to increase my 'Dynamic Discount' on collections/packages that had other stuff I wanted.
