Description: Description, tags, and language make it easier to share the purpose of your documents, and to find others' content that is relevant to your study. The new Docs panel information pane also helps you keep track of which documents you have shared, and lets you preview the profile of the owner of public documents.

I really like the Description and Tag fields in the information panel, but they are not available for all document types.  Please add these fields to all document types, including:

    • Sermon
    • Word Find Puzzle
    • Handout
    • Morph Query

(I think these are the only document types missing the description and tag fields.)

    Thank you.

    • Sermon
    • Word Find Puzzle
    • Handout
    • Morph Query

(I think these are the only document types missing the description and tag fields.)

And each type has a reason for lacking document information. I wouldn't expect anything for Handouts (for users with existing docs in Windows only), and Sermon Manager surely ties Sermons together?

    Hi Dave,

Yea, I threw in Handout to give Faithlife some wiggle room. I create my own with MS Word.

One of the nice things about the tags on documents is that you can relate them to each other.  The problem I see is that you can't relate any of the documents you used to form a sermon to that sermon.  I'd like to see tag fields on Sermon, Word Find Puzzle and Morph Query documents.

The tags would also help to associate these documents to specific topics and characteristics.

That should give FL some more reason to change, but you should submit this to the Feedback site.

In reading the hyperlink instructions in the initial post, do I understand it correctly that if I want to share my document with just a single other person, I have to either make it a) public and accessible for all Logos users OR b) create a private faithlife group for just me and that person? Is there no other way to have it create a link that I can just share with an individual?

That is the only way to share without going public.

I thought that might be the case. Thank you for confirming Dave, I appreciate it.
