Comment Beta 2: Searching for Bible references in Bible Search
- (Beta 1) Added the ability to search for cross-reference footnotes when searching for a Bible reference in a Bible.
- Known Issue: Bible references do not show up in the autocompleter for Bible search, and results are not available within Inline Search when set to Bible.
Ok, but what's new about searching for Bible references in a Bible? And yes, I wouldn't expect results from a Bible Search anyway. Then it dawned on me --- it's the ability to search for bible references in Bible Search (where bible references are in footnotes, previously only accessible from Basic Search).
Beta 2 now allows Inline Search to do this.
You have to use <1 Peter 3> format in Bible Search but Basic Search also recognises 1 Peter 3?
Bugs:
- The hyperlink on the footnote in Results does not work.
- Charts states "No results" for the bible reference.
- Save as Passage List does not work
- Save as Visual Filter does not work for Bible Search
- Save as Word List does not work (expected!)
Send to Inline Search works, but I'm hard-pressed to see the advantages of this Search apart from the presentation of the results. Why couldn't this have been done in Basic Search i.e. provide Verse as an option?

This does work. for me on macOS, but it's not working on Windows. I'll write up a case.

This has been fixed in 9.2 RC 1.

That has been fixed, but
- The hyperlink on the footnote in Results does not work i.e. it links to the title page of the bible (in Verbum 9.2 RC1 at least)
- Save as Passage List still does not work
- Save as Visual Filter still does not work for Bible Search i.e. it is not recognised as a VF in the bible unless it is switched to a Basic Search

These are on our schedule to work on, it won't be during 9.2 though.
