Dashboard Cards
I can no longer open my cards on the Dashboard. When I click on my Bible Reading or Devotionals card nothings happens. I can still open them from the "Docs" on the upper tool bar. I have rebooted logos several times and removed and added the cards to the Dashboard, but still nothing. This just started yesterday. It was working fine before. Any help??

Welcome Nick
This issue appears to be unanswered on Mac (if this applies to you). What version of Logos?

Was this since you updated to Logos 9.2 or updated Windows (what version)? Or since you installed a new program (Security Suite, etc.?)

I'm not sure when logos was updated so I can't say if it happened immediately after that. This is what logos says I'm running version 9.2.0.0014
Windows 10 was recently updated to Version 2004 (OS Build 19041.746). Sadly after that last update I have experienced a few other problems as well.
I have not added any other programs.

Thanks for the report. I've added a link to this thread to our case for this bug.
The application is interpreting the mouse clicks as offset from where you are actually clicking. For now, you may find that the clicks register if you click somewhat near the card instead of directly on it.

Clicking somewhat near the card is interesting. I have experienced this too ( I posted a "Bug" thread on this several days ago. I found that if I grabbed the card and repositioned it then generally I would be able to open it. Andrew from what you've said it seems like a situation where Logos/Verbum has lost the whereabouts of where the Card is actually positioned.

I'm finding the same issue as well on 9.2 on Windows 10. I have to click on a certain part of the card for it to activate. In my case, I have to click about two-thirds of the wat across from the left, and in the bottom third of the card.

Thanks Gentlemen,
It is weird, I clicked around the lower left quadrant of card and it opened, but it seems to move a little each time, but always from that general area. Now can you fix my issues with my web cam since the windows 10 update messed it all up. Hahahaha!
Appreciate the help.
Blessings from California

I started having issues recently with the dashboard cards as well. I'm using a microsoft surface pro tablet and the cards work fine when I have the surface docked and viewing logos on an external monitor, but I'm unable to click on the cards whenever I have my tablet undocked. Based on what you mention here about the offset, I'm assuming it has something to do with the different display resolutions between the two scenarios.

Same issue here - I finally got it to work by clicking in different areas, but will be great to see a fix.

Unfortunately it doesn't appear to be fixed in 9.3. [:(]

When we are able to work on this we will update this thread.

I CAN NO LONGER DO ANYTHING WITH LAYOUT CARDS ON DASHBOARD !!!
AND TO ADD WHAT EVER HAPPENED TO DASHBOARD HAS ALSO AFFECTED THE ABILITY TO CREATE LOG FILES, LOGGING HAS STOPPED WORKING.
YES! you guessed it not happy being stuck with a broken tool I paid a ton of money for, like so many keep reminding us Faithlife is a business, well they need to remember to start acting like it.

LAYOUT CARDS
There is a problem with recognizing input, so you have to click slightly away from the target to get a response e.g. away from the vertical three dots to open the menu. But I note that response/accuracy in 9.4 beta is improved. Otherwise, please describe your issue with screenshots.
Are you getting log files when you open Logos with the CTRL key held down (in Windows)? I note that log files and other attachments work under a new system in the forum, and I find it easier to drag log files to the input window (on the right side).

Hello I am having the same problem with version 9.3.0.0049 on PC. I have to click several time for it to open. It takes about 10 seconds to get a response. I am also unable to remove a card from the Dashboard. I clicked the "remove Card" option several times but it has never worked. These have only been issues in Logos 9. I am not sure what it is though.

Me too very annoying they need to port logos over to Linux and make there Android app better.

I really hope they release a service release soon to fix this and don't wait until the normal update timing. An entire aspect of the program is not working and it's been a problem through two updates now. Fixing this needs to be their top priority.

I have the same issue- I have to find a sweet spot (little left from three dots) and then when I attempted to delete some cards are being deleted and some still not deleted.
Please help, I am seeing so many cards on my dashboard!!!!

Issue remains unresolved and has been that way for many months.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how we can escalate (or notify) someone from the Logos/Faithlife development staff to address the issue?
Other than have a place to "vent" our frustration - does this forum actually get anything accomplished in terms of bug fixes?

The forums are not an official means of communication with FL. They do interact, but not to every post. I don't use the dashboard or use windows, so I am not a big help for this problem. If a "Bug" thread has not been created, that would be the first step. I don't know if Dave created one or not.
EDIT: I didn’t realize that this was the second page of the thread. 🤨

A fix has most likely been found for this issue. It is undergoing some testing, and (in theory) should show up in 9.5.

Great, I was just going to report the same problem of the dashboard only working half the time. But I can wait until 9.5 and see
