Possible bug - Notes is not picking up scripture hyperlinks correctly
The blue hyperlinking is not marking the correct scripture text (John 1:12 is given marked "f God John"; Rom 8 is marked "ier in"), and sometimes it just does not provide the hyperlink at all (1 John 3:1-3; Gal 3:26; Rom 8:14-17). Is this a new bug?

Could you please provide a screen shot? Are these notes recently made in Logos or converted notes or copy&paster notes?

Rom 8:14-17 it looks as if you might have a space after the colon - I can't tell for sure.
first question - are you putting a space at the end of each reference?
second question - what platform are you running on?

Think I may have figured something out. As long as I work with Notes in the docked main window position, everything works fine regarding the reference hyperlinked.
However, if I take that Notes tab and dock it in a floating window, that is when the problem starts. It continues EVEN AFTER I REDOCK THE WINDOW, or close the program and reopen to the same layout with the Notes panel in a docked position. Every note created when the Notes window is floating still has problems with the hyperlinks. Any NEW notes created after the panel is re-docked are ok.
Weird!!!

MJ, could you see if you can duplicate this issue on your system? Just float your Notes panel, create a note and see if the hyperlinks are created properly?
Thanks.

Sorry, not sure that is it either. Will continue trying to see what sequence creates the issue.

Ok, now I think it has something to do with inserted images. I have a long note containing both text and multiple images throughout. All reference hyperlinks BEFORE the first image are ok. After the first image is inserted, however, all hyperlinks in text after that image have problems.
If I create a new note and copy/paste the text ONLY from the problem note, ALL hyperlinks are automatically repaired and are correct, no matter where they are located in the note.
Then if I insert the first image back into its proper location, all previously created hyperlinks stay as they were and are correct. But any NEW references added are not correct.
This happens with the Notes panel docked, so I don't think it has anything to do with whether it is docked or floated.
Maybe it has something to do with the way I am inserting the images. Whenever I add a new one, there is always an error message telling me that there was a problem and it could not add the image. However, when I click on the "Insert Media" icon, the new image is already in the "My Media" area. I can then select it, click on "Insert", and it adds it to my note.
Any ideas?

I think you are on the right track - something is messing with the calculation of the position of the text. I would report it as a bug and include logs.

Thanks for reporting this. I've got a case written up.

This has been fixed in 9.6.
