I ask this before, but got no reply. I need to export a chapter or two into Word and print it out. I am unable to export more than one verse at a time; as far as I can tell. Is there another way around this?

What are you using, the "copy Bible Verse" tool?

What happens if you use the Print/Export tool?

it will support printing up to 100 pages (based on the Logos page and the printer settings) - does this work for you?

When I use the "print/export", the print window allows me to select one chapter at a time.  So, I'm not sure why it is only letting you select one verse.  You could also manually highlight your text, copy and past.  Also, CTRL+B will open up the "Copy Bible Verses" window. You can input the text you want and paste it into a word document.

That was what I was using, but it only lets me do one verse at a time. Or am I doing something wrong?

Can you post a screen shot of the print window?  That might be helpful.

I'm not sure why, but for some reason, you are missing almost the entire left column that lets you select what you want to print.  I've tried and I cannot make my screen look like yours

This screen only allows me to print/export the verse I am on. No other options (that I see) can change it. Thanks for trying to help.

What version of Logos and operating system are you using? Also, what Bible?

You should also be able to use Copy Bible Verses to export a couple of chapters to a word processor of choice e.g. Word, LibreOffice Writer.

please be more precise (e.g. there are a number of KJV bibles in Logos): give Logos IDs etc from the bottom of the information panel of your bible and meaningful screenshots or a quick video showing exactly what you do.

EDIT: Stupid question - if you want to go through Word anyway before printing, why not simply use copy/paste (selecting text and hitting Ctrl-C or using the right-click-menu to copy), if print/export is not doing it for you?

I'm sorry but I don't understand. I am using the KJV 1900. The Holy Bible: King James Version. Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009.

I go to the screen shot that I posted by "CRLT" + "P."

For me to cut and paste onto MSWord, and have to edit my pasting would take time. I was using WordSearch, and in that problem, all I had to do is go to "export Bible notes" and type on the screen want I wanted to export, one verse, one chapter, on complete book or all my notes. Simple.

What version of Logos 9?  Go to the menu at top right of the window (Help), select About Logos...., and the version is on the left hand side e.g. 9.6 SR-2.

Have you tried Tools > Copy Bible Verses as I suggested?

Dave, I am using the latest version of Logos 9.6. R 2.  The Copy Bible Verse doesn't export my Bible docs. I have spend thousand of hours study and making notes in WordSearch. I have close to 5000 notes. What I want print a few chapters of notes that I have made. I can copy and paste my notes, but this will take awhile. I would have to edit these notes once I did that, which would be even more time. In Wordsearch it was so easy to do this.

Thanks

Danny

Could you use WordSearch for now and seek a Logos solution when you're under less pressure?

Danny, thanks for explaining it once again. From your initial post I assumed you wanted to print bible text - now I see you want to print Notes. And then your screenshot makes sense as it looks exactly like it should when printing one Note.

To print a number of them in one go, all you need to do is select multiple Notes in the Notes tool (such as, select the first one with click, go to the last in the sequence and shift click- here I used those on Genesis chapter 1 in a shared notebook containing notes from the Geneva bible) then use Print/Export.

Image

This example will print all 16 of them, in my current setting 5 pages of notes.

I hope this helps!
