Visual Filters in non Bible resources

Is it possible to hide visual filters (notes and highlights) in an non bibles. I want to see them in my bibles but not is other resources. When I am reading in a commentary or other non bible resource I don't want to see the notes icons. Do I have to hide them for each resource separately?

You can turn a particular notebook off for all resources - you would need to do this for each notebook

This would also turn them off in Bibles, and they would need to be re-enabled there.
