I purchased a new Dell 13" laptop. I am studying NT101 and the videos do not display. I can hear the sound but the video portion is blank - white screen. Do I need to change a setting on my computer? Thank you for your help.
Is your monitor turned on? That’s a common mistake 😂 You can tell I’m not tech support.
Just make sure you choose the video file not the audio file and that should take care of the problem.

If you have 11th gen Intel processor, then check if Hardware Acceleration in Program Settings is enabled or not (at the very bottom).
If it is not, then you can enable it but you may get other problems such as described in this thread (https://community.logos.com/forums/t/196185.aspx) until you install the latest Intel drivers available at https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19344/intel-graphics-windows-10-windows-11-dch-drivers.html

Thanks Kevin. I changed it and it works now. I will watch and see if I have any other problems and then check the thread if I need to. I think I should be good. I just received this laptop this week and ordered it from Dell. I had to wait for them to build it and ship it so I think it probably has the latest drivers.
