I'm trying to do this search "Jesus WITHIN 5 WORDS lamb" (without the quotes) in the NKJV in the web app search tab to find all the places where Jesus is call a lamb. But it does not work. It looks up all the words included in the search.

Does this not work in the web app? Is there another format to use?

Running "(God, Jesus) lamb" seems to do the trick, but it does not provide the word limit. 44 results in 20 verses in the NKJV. Is it just the WITHIN X WORDS search that does not work in the web app?

I would assume that only the operators shown on the "instruction" page for each sort work. I see no proximity operators listed there.

Your search query is correct. There just aren't any results in the NKJV that match your query. You'll get the same results on the desktop app. If you try it in the NIV, you'll get two results on both desktop and web.

There are 3 results in the NKJV for Jesus lamb or Jesus AND lamb (i.e., both terms occur in the same verse). You'll see in all three cases there are more than 5 intervening words.

Okay, I think I see what I was doing wrong. I keep forgetting they stick the Fuzzy Search results at the top. This is where I was seeing WITHIN showing as a result. I'm really glad to see that these search syntax I learned on the desktop work in the web app.
