Under Type in Passage Guide, these volumes are listed as "Apparatus":

  • NIGTC Rev, James, Heb, Rom, Col-Phm, Thess, 1 Cor, 2 Cor, Mt, Mk, Lk   whilst
  • NIGTC Gal is Exegetical

I expect Metzger's Textual Commentary to be Apparatus, but commentaries similar to NIGTC (that I tag as Technical) are categorised as Exegetical.

They're all labeled as both "Apparatus" and "Exegetical" but we missed the label of "Apparatus" for Galatians. (We fixed that now. Thanks.)

I'd say they're primarily Exegetical but since nearly every pericope includes a lengthy section on Textual Notes we labeled them as "Apparatus" as well.

If this is throwing off search results or its only appearing in one section please let us know. There may be a bug somewhere.

I had not expected that, and only noticed the exception of Galatians (now fixed).
