I'm looking for a resource with good Advent readings that a family would do on Sunday mornings during the corporate gathering. I find many advent devotionals, but I haven't found anything with Lord's Day advent readings (unless I've just completely missed them absentmindedly).

Any suggestions, ideas, or directions on where to look are greatly appreciated.

The Book of Common Prayer and many other lectionaries have Advent readings, and readings for EVERY Sunday of the entire Christian year.

The 1662 and 1928 have a one-year lectionary. The newer editions have a three-year lectionary. I prefer a one-year lectionary and want the same scriptures every year.

The Logos regular 1662 does not have updated spelling, but the Logos IVP 1662 International does.

The 1928 is the best one-year BCP in Logos.

You can add the Sunday readings right to your Logos desktop as a card. There is a Lutheran one-year lectionary, and several 3-year lectionaries that can be added to the desktop.

This website has the standard one-year lectionary that is very similar to most one-year lectionaries

You might just want a dedicated Advent book, but I just wanted to throw out this larger option.

The Advent wreath is a Sunday morning devotion that has suitable readings.  Google it and you can find a variety of age group and denominationally appropriate readings.

Thank you for this! I am going to look it up right now, as I'm stuck in my office with freezing cold rain between my church and parsonage, and I pray it ends soon!

MJ, thank you for this! I'm not sure I found the right one, but what I am finding is great!

I hope the rain stopped for you! I am glad that you had something distracting to research. Lectionary research can last longer than any rainstorm.
