What are the "must have" books in this collection for students?
The Books of Kings Vol 1 and 2 looked good.

In this thorough commentary, Cyril J. Barber builds the case that Christianity needs the teachings of 1 and 2 Kings now more than ever. The history contained within the books of Kings serves as an essential guidepost to Christians, and for those searching for direction, the truth within these texts may be the answer.
This inviting study of the books of Kings is ideal for pastors, college students, seminarians, and lay people. Cyril J. Barber draws from old interpretations and reveals new perspectives as well to provide an insightful commentary on this ancient book.

Abortion and the Early Church: Christian, Jewish, and Pagan Attitudes in the Greco-Roman World
This one looks like it might be considered too old to quote for some things, but it should help direct me to the latest research on this topic.

I only want to spend about $10.00 more and there are so many books to choose from.
If something in this 12 page list of books jumps out at anyone as a must have book for students, please shout out.

Thankfully this seems to be at least an annual sale. I think this is at least the 3rd or 4th time it has come around.
If you're on a budget, multiple $5 books can add up fast. I try to be selective even with this one. Last time I had spent more than enough that month so I skipped a few titles, which I regretted a bit at the time. I'm thankful I have another opportunity to pick them up.
Great for newbies to this sale. March sales overall for me including March Madness as well as this one, are very slim pickings...that's a good thing in a lot of respects.

With the focus on bundles in recent years, I hardly look at MM at all any more. Even more when it's mobile ed. It's a relief to my wallet, but I miss the big discounts that would come up on certain key resources that I might otherwise be unable to afford.

Yes! Three books was $15.00. If I buy two more that is $25.00. It surely does add up fast. The month is young. I am going to just stick with the three for now, and then see what the rest of the month brings. There are a lot of books in those twelve pages, and I am very unfamiliar with most of them. At some point, I was have an assignment or get curious about something and hopefully one of the $5.00 books will suffice.
I snagged 3 but those Everett books look good so maybe after MM

Thanks for pointing this one out. I just placed my order too.
Kathleen, what I have been doing recently is place the things that I want in my cart and let them sit there until near the end of the month. At that time I review them and place my order based on my finances. Smaller purchases add up fast and it is hard to keep track of how much I have put on my credit card. This way I have a better handle on it.

Any recommendations for Jacob Neusner?

Yes, looks like a great reference work. I got it as well.
Does anyone know why vol. 2 is missing pages 1 through 205? Could it be an error in the resource?
I selected a few key subjects that he treats, plus the Babylonian series.
I had not noticed that yet. Good question. Could be an error but I'm wondering if it has something to do with how the bibliography was set up.
I suspect missing content. I went to Google Books, found the book, did a search for "Ashkelon", which should definitely produce results in vol. 2, and got this:
The search hits from vol. 1 can be found in the Logos edition.
The search hits from vol. 2 from p. 206 onward can be found in the Logos edition.
Search hits from vol. 2, p. 1 through 205 are not to be found in the Logos edition. For example: "For merchants from Ashkelon in Rhodes..." (p. 34)
Could someone from Logos please check?

I don't recall ever seeing this before but the first 205 pages of Volume 2 are the end notes to volume 1 so they're incorporated throughout volume 1.
For example: "For merchants from Ashkelon in Rhodes..." (p. 34)
Then it also makes sense that the inline search doesn't find these passages.
a weird way to produce a 2 vol book
Yes.
For Logosian serious mappers, this volume has comparitive location lists from the Zeno papyrus (hellenistic period). For budding nusmatists (sp?), the mix, from archeological sites, same period.
Thanks. That is what I need to do. My wishlist is so long that I lose things in it, so I am putting some of the ones that I am most interested in the "save for later" folder. The last couple months, I have spent too much. I need to slow down, not matter how good a deal is offered.
Last time there was a Wipf & Stock sale, my desires got out of control, so I created a separate wishlist to serve as a holding tank for that sale. With this sale going on, I got an email stating one of my wishlisted items is discounted, which I had forgotten about. When I looked at my list for the first time in many months, it's large enough that I understand why I put them in the wishlist last time. Bibliophilia can get very expensive!
We can make more than one wishlist? I am going to have to check that out. Thanks!
Just go to https://www.logos.com/account/wishlists and click on "create new list"
and not so newbies
Is there anything people deem 'good' that is in the sale this time and wasn't last time?

Thanks! I sorta have it figured out. My cellular wifi is dead slow right now, so some of the problems I am having might be due to that.

It doesn't look like there's much, if anything, new at all in this sale.
Also, no Logos Reader Editions or Faithlife Ebooks are included in this sale, which is unfortunate given that there are way more of them than there are W&S Logos Research Editions.

There is no savings to buy this package of many of the OT books by this author. Are they all equally good, or are some better than others?
