A bit of background to set up the issue is needed, I think.
Earlier this week I purchased and downloaded the version 4 for Mac. I created an account and password.
However, since I ordered the DVD version rather than the download, I was unable to have the resources unlocked. I was told I need to wait until the DVD arrived to install the package and resources.
I believe the download was a Beta version and the DVD is Alpha (LE)
So I deleted the program (using AppZapper) and started fresh with the DVD when it arrived yesterday. I copied the program to my applications folder & proceeded with the installation.
The program installed and got as far as searching for / building a list of resources. I can't remember the exact message. At some point the progress indicator went away and there was no activity of any kind displayed. I thought perhaps it was done, but I could find no evidence of the resources on the HD.
I opened the program and got the top bar to display, but when I dropped down the menus, none of the commands would work. So after tinkering for a while, I again Zapped the program and tried to reinstall from scratch.
At this point the DVD just continues to eject before displaying the window to copy the program to the Applications folder. Anyone have some thoughts about how I should proceed?
