Handouts Timeline???
I am looking for updated information on the Handouts feature. Anyone have any "inside info" on when that feature might be working its way into the beta's?

I'll save the logos team having to answer again.
Their official answer is that they are waiting for the windows world to do a rewrite of the handouts feature and there is no date set for that. The mac development team is not going to implement it until it is revised.
My understanding is that we wont be seeing it in the Beta.
There are a number of fairly recently posted forum questions on handouts so feel free to look around for the official logos answer.
If you are looking for timelines it seems it might be easiest to ask around on the Windows forum since that is what the Mac team is waiting for.

Anticipating handouts to be "quite a while" in the future - suspect initial Logos 4 Mac release could ship before handouts improvement implemented.

Sorry, I read several posts that offered sort of vague answers. Should the following answers:
"Handouts probably won't appear on the Mac for quite a while."
"As soon as possible " and
"This will delay handouts availability on the Mac, but result in a much better feature on both platforms."
be better interpreted:
A very, very long time maybe in L4M 4.1, 4.2, 4.3 or somewhere there abouts? ... Or is that too soon? Should we not look for this feature until L5M?
Not trying to be a smart aleck ... Like most others, I'm just curious.

We don't have a timeline with that level of specificity available, yet; if it's an important feature to you, I suggest that you go and vote on it at our UserVoice site. Having hard data on how many users care about it will affect its prioritization and timeline.

I actually updated the Logos 4 Mac FAQ (#5) on Monday with this note:
NOTE: Handouts will not be implemented for the initial RTM version of Logos 4 Mac. It is scheduled for a full re-write on Logos 4 Windows and will be implemented on Mac after that is complete.
