BUG: Sidebar state not saved with saved layouts
Verbum/Mac; If you save a layout (in my case with a Bible and Commentary), the state of the sidebar is not maintained. In some cases it is not opened at all when it was saved that way, in other cases the width is not maintained.
Tips to create: (start from Home Page)
1. Open ESV full screen - sidebar is off.
2. Turn on sidebar to default width.
3. Open Anchor Yale Bible commentary - sidebar is off.
4. Turn on sidebar to default width.
5. 'Save as Named Layout' - I sed the layout name 'Test'
6. Close all (icon in top right corner)
7. Open 'Test' Layout.
8. You will probably see ESV has no sidebar! Bug #1
9. Open ESV sidebar and make it very narrow.
10. Click on the Anchor tab, and its sidebar shows - make it very narrow.
11. Resave the layout by clicking 'Update Active'.
12. Close all.
13. Reopen Test layout. Anchor tab's sidebar is wide again (Bug #2), ESV has no sidebar (Bug #1 again)
This is not specific to these resources. It seems Bibles don't keep their sidebar open in layouts, and other resources will only save an open sidebar to its default width.
I am reporting this in the beta forum as I am on 26.0.20 Beta 3, but I suspect this is not a new bug.
