Life Application Study Bible

Anyone have any insights on why Logos don't have the Life Application Study Bible. They have so many study Bibles and have books by the publisher. It seems odd they've never offered in the time I've been buying resources. I have bought 2nd and 3rd editions cheaply in other software, but would rather have invested in a Logos version.

I have the NT one volume commentary and the set. I like study Bibles. I have the Wiersbe Study Bible, Swindoll Study Bible, Maxwell Leadership Study Bible and NIV Study Bible in Olive Tree. Great and cheap but wish they were in Logos.

I have tried so many times to talk to different staff at different levels and no one can ever give me a straight answer. At this point I just don’t think they care anymore. The second edition was carried over with the WORDsearch transition but they can’t sell it because the third edition is what is out now… I don’t know why they can’t sell the third edition.

As users we have no information on any negotiations that FL may or may not be engaged in - nor would it be ethical for FL to provide us with the information. The only time we know the answer is when a publisher has pulled resources (or their entire catalogue.

PA, are you able to purchase the Concordia Self-Study Bible? From the foreword: “The Concordia Self-Study Bible is a Lutheran edition of The NIV Study Bible. The notes have been edited and revised to provide a distinctively Lutheran emphasis by Robert G. Hoerber.”
P.S. It might be less expensive in a collection.

Hi Richard
Yes I have it. It is the old NIV Study Bible with notes that have been modified for Lutheran perspective. I understand the notes that been changed have cross marker to indicate this. But it is very much the old NIV Study Bible
It would be nice to the up to date version.
Thanks

Buy this one instead https://www.logos.com/product/18559/concordia-electronic-theological-library-collection-1
You get the self study Bible and commentary. Two different resources for less money.

That and it’s only $19.99 which is cheaper than Logos’s lowest price of $32 and change. Regular price is $43.99!

I would also love to see the chronological life application study Bible, which is kind of the same, but goes a little bit more in depth than the life application study bible.

Not the same, I know. But by the same team. You can think of it as an expanded version and the price is not bad. NT only, though.

And the cheapest way to buy is through a Legacy Library:

On the feedback site, someone just moved the LASB to "In Progress" so maybe the 3rd edition is coming?
