Bug: Disappearing Visual Filters
I have noticed recently some strange behaviors with the list of Visual Filters in a Bible.
When I select or deselect a Visual Filter, sometimes it will disappear from the list of Visual Filters for that open Bible. If I open a new copy of a Bible (in this case the NASB), it will work fine for a while. Then after selecting a few visual filters, they will disappear.
At first I thought my own Visual Filters were not working with some Bibles. But I noticed that the problem also occurs with the built-in Visual Filters. Here is a screen shot of the Visual Filters list for the NASB 1995. You can see that the built-in Corresponding Selection and Popular Highlights Visual Filters are missing.
Has anyone noticed this bug?

This won't help, but I'm on the stable version (last one), and similar. From what I can see (on the stable version), is the VFs that use tags (in my case) come and go in the list. When not in the list, they don't display. When they disappeared, I had to go back and see if the VF definition had changed (it hadn't). Had to turn on/off/on/off to get them to show. I also learned (checking all my layout resources) that Moulton/Milligan has an interlinear! Who knew.

I hadn't noticed this but I've just checked (on stable 25.2) and see something similar. With one Bible showing an option for Timeline events but this not appearing in another one

Thanks, all. We have this on our radar and we are currently looking into this issue.

Has there been any resolution to this issue. I create new Visual Filters and they are not showing up on the Visual Effects toggle menu at all... therefore USELESS.

I am grateful that I have not seen the problem in a while. I agree that it is super annoying and undermines a wonderful and unique Logos feature.
I suggest that you restart Logos with logging turned on. Then create a new visual filter and look at your list of Visual Filters in a Bible. If some of the filters are not shown, exit the program and submit the log to this thread. This will help the developers to isolate the problem. The procedure for creating and submitting logs files is described here: https://support.logos.com/hc/en-us/articles/360027869132-How-to-Enable-and-Submit-Log-Files
