Lately when I click on a footnote it pops up in a different location than expected (lower and to the right).

Thank you so much for reporting this. It's happening to me as well. I am using an ASUS ZenBook Pro Duo and when I have both monitors going, sometimes the pop-up goes down to the second screen, even if the logos window is only on the main monitor.

This must be a widespread easily reproduced problem. I'm not able to reproduce it immediately, but there must be something about all these people's configurations. Maybe dual monitor? (One of the people on one of those other threads mentioned he had a dual monitor setup.)

I have dual monitors, but I've never had this issue until recently.

I should also add, even though I have two monitors, not every footnote popup is displayed on my secondary screen. Sometimes on the Primary and sometimes on the secondary.

This issue has been resolved in 29.0 Beta 1.
