BUG Beta 1: Add Versions button not functional
The Add Versions button flashes nicely between Clear and Logos Blue, but does nothing. And what is the point of the down arrow when it also does nothing?
The screenshot shows an additional version but it cannot be dismissed, even if I a version is no longer selected.
It is dismissed after a new bible is selected for the Search but it doesn't remember the version I selected and reverts to my preferred Bible (it does nothing except change the selection).

Thanks for reporting this Dave. We're looking into it. Do the problems happen every time you use the Search panel, or only sometimes?

The button state should match whether the popup is open or not. The down arrow is only a visual indicator that the button opens a popup.

The versions in the panel are supposed to update right away in response to any changes in the picker. It sounds like that isn't happening, but we haven't found a reproducible way to get it into that broken state.
If you are able to recreate the problem any additional information you can provide would be helpful:
- Confirm this is on Windows 11
- Confirm program scaling and panel scaling are 100%
- Confirm whether the popup is opening and closing as expected, whether clicking on the button or anywhere else outside of the popup
- Confirm when the Add versions button is clear or filled in. It should be filled in when hovered or the popup is open. It should be clear when the popup is closed and the button is not hovered
- Include the app and CEF log files
- Include a screen recording showing the problems
- Describe the steps that were taken prior to the Add versions popup being observed to be broken

The problem in v29 Beta 1 is that it will not give me an extra version!
- Run Search on ESV
- Click Add versions
- Type SBLGNT in Find Box
- Select it (from a Series it is in)
- Erase Find Box and see below
- If I dismiss the menu, there is no additional version.
- If I run the Search on SBLGNT, the menu comes up with ESV selected, but no additional version is produced.
- Confirm this is on Windows 11
- Yes
- Confirm program scaling and panel (content) scaling are 100%
- 90/110. But the issue remains with 100/100.
- Confirm whether the popup is opening and closing as expected, whether clicking on the button or anywhere else outside of the popup

- Confirm when the Add versions button is clear or filled in. It should be filled in when hovered or the popup is open. It should be clear when the popup is closed and the button is not hovered

In Beta 2:
- Search on NABRE and ESV becomes the additional version
- no version is selected in the menu.
- Switch the Search to ESV and the additional ESV version is removed
- ESV is selected in the menu (under Choose Books)
- Switch back to NABRE and ESV becomes the additional version
- ESV is selected in the menu (under Choose Books)
- Switch to NRSV and ESV remains the additional version
- ESV is selected in the menu (under Choose Books)
- Go to another Search tab
- Search on NABRE and there is no additional version
- no version is selected in the menu.
- Select ESV in the menu
- it appears under Books
- no additional version is produced
So I can't remove additional versions in one Search tab and can't select additional versions in another.

It sounds like in addition to the problems with the picker you may be seeing a new behavior that I think was accidentally omitted from the release notes. I will double check and make sure the release notes are amended.
When the search results are in a single Bible, we will hide that same Bible from the additional versions. So searching ESV with NABRE and ESV as additional versions will show ESV NABRE (where before it would have been ESV NABRE ESV). Searching NABRE with ESV and NABRE will show NABRE ESV.
