Copy and paste into notes not working
Trying to copy and paste sections of text from a course into a note and unable to. Nothing shows up when I tell it to paste. Highlighting is showing up, but no copy and paste after this, 30.0.6, update. I haven't tried any other resources yet. Will try that shortly.

Just tried from a book and that didn't copy and paste into my note file either. No error messages received, just not pasting.

Just tried from a book into another notebook and it worked. Strange... Will keep seeing if I can figure anything out.

Tried using another notebook and book that wasn't included in my course and it worked. Still unable to copy and paste from any of the courseware materials, though. Strange...

No problem's for me in Win11. Could you provide more detail e.g how you copy, example Courseware

All but one lesson worked fine in the course. Strange that it wouldn't. Simply highlighting text, copying and pasting. No big deal, was able to highlight and that saved in the note file fine.

It was TH111, unit 7, by the way. Just went back and verified.
Everything before and after that unit worked perfectly. May have been something in my download.

I am also unable to copy and paste text into a note on my Mac. I can paste the text into a MS Word document but not into a note.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention. I will take a look at these reports and see if I can reproduce. It sounds like it might not be super far spread so I will let you know if any additional information would be helpful.

The pasting works most of the time. However, here is what I did when the pasting did not work:
1) Create a new note.
2) Manually add it to a notebook.
3) Copy text from a resource.
4) Try to paste the text into the new note.
5) Even text from another source (e.g., an MS Word document or a webpage) cannot be pasted.
Unfortunately, even with following these steps, the issue cannot be reproduced reliably.

It would be interesting to know - when you can't paste into a note, can you paste into an outside document such as Notepad? That would tell us whether or not the text was in the clipboard.

Yes, it is possible to paste into a different application, i.e., the text is clearly in the clipboard.

Same here. Able to paste into different application - even into SERMON, but pasting into NOTES is hit & miss.

I was afraid of that ... I had a potential explanation for not getting it into the clipboard (my error which I do embarrassingly often).

No issues pasting into notes and most of mine involves 3-4 pages of Word material.

I'm having the same problem (Windows user). It's not consistent, but happens regularly now.
At first I thought it might be because I pasted something that had a link in it, but it's happened with just plain old text, subsequently. Frustrating.

I just joined the "occasional club".
From ESV, I could not paste (CTRL+V) Rev 22:6-7 into a Note, but it could be pasted into a Clipping and MS Word. This followed a successful paste a few minutes earlier, also from Rev 22.
EDIT: if it will not paste into one note, it will often paste into another, and then into the original Note.

It struck me again last night. Was able to paste for a while, then it quit. Was able to save to clippings, though, and to Word.
Started a new note and it worked fine again.

I have LEFT the "occasional" club and have entered the "always" club!

When I face pasting problems, I use the Logos Web App. After the first paste in the web app, it works for me again on the desktop app.

I couldn't copy and paste into a note on Monday of this week. I could copy and paste into a text editor.
I haven't been in Logos much this week with the holiday so it's hard to get a sense of the issue.
A restart of logos didn't fix the issue. At some point, I did reboot my system at some point on Tuesday or Wednesday. I last used Logos on Wednesday and I could copy and paste into notes.
I rebooted my system at some point during the week.

I was hopeful that the new beta would fix the problem! But according to the release notes, no fixes related to notes were implemented.

It was NOT fixed but there is another thread that a Logos tech mentioned that it was reported and since that has happened it is possible to see a fix soon.
