Copy Bible Verse issues
Recently, Logos fixed a bug in Copy Bible Verses. However, recently, I have noticed that periodically, it will not generate a search if a verse is already loaded. After a couple attempts, it actually generates the entire chapter rather than chapter and verse. For instance, if a verse is already generated and I try searching say, John 3:16, nothing happens when I hit enter. If I delete the verse that was already there, it will generate all of John 3 by itself. I have to go back, delete John 3 and try again for it to finally work. I hope I explained my problem clearly! I have contacted Logos support, shared my problem, shared the version I'm running, and even shared a video recording of the problem. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

We need to know your version of Mac/Windows and what version of Logos. The current version 31 in Windows 10/11 does not have that issue.
Share the video recording by directly uploading via the paperclip icon (mp4 work best).

Hi Joey
I have trouble with some of Logos' conventions. Often it seems that there is an inconsistency in the way Copy and Paste takes effect in the Copy Bible Verse (CBV) search bar.
With a verse in the search bar of CBV a paste sometimes requires that the selection is confirmed by selecting from the drop down (reverting to the original reference not confirmed), other times it takes effect as soon as pasted, and sometimes the change needs to be 'actioned' by pressing return.
I agree with you that the code around this part of the programme appears a little flaky.

We have seen instances of this problem. We have a case open, but have had difficulties getting this to consistently reproduce. I added a link to this thread in the case so that we can post an update in the event that a fix is made.

The issue is sporadic with me as well. However, it seems to happen more frequently.

I recently discovered a hack of sorts to this issue. If the reference doesn't generate, I can click either the space key or enter key (again), and it usually will work. Hope this helps any of you who have/are experiencing this!
