KJV 1900 missing content
Hello,
Does anyone know how to fix missing content in the KJV 1900 bible? I have attached a screenshot that shows content missing at the top in the toolbar. I have shutdown the computer and restarted it and nothing has worked. I am also running an M1 Max chip with the latest Mac OS Sonoma software 14.3 and the latest Logos 10 bible software version 31.1.24. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hi Joshua
I'm afraid I can't see anything in your screenshot
Please try again using the paperclip icon in the forum editor

That looks like the problem in https://community.logos.com/forums/t/220738.aspx?ssi=0

Hello,
I am not using dark mode so that didn't work for me. My setting is on system. However I did try changing the setting to dark and then back to light and it didn't work even after restarting Logos. If you could try starting from the home page and simply go to library and open the KJV1900 you will see what I'm talking about. However I did find that once you bring it up if you drag the Bible tab to the other side of the screen everything appears. But we shouldn't have to do that. There is clearly a problem. Also I just noticed the arrows for the dropdown tabs for the books of the Bible have disappeared in some places. I also opened the Geneva bible and noticed some of the same problems. I'm thinking this is a Logos 10 update problem and has nothing to do with the KJV1900 or the Geneva module but I could be wrong. If anyone has any other suggestions I'm all ears.

Well, Graham is the expert ... your screenshot looked a lot like the recent beta problem (but not).
I tried as you instructed. I'm latest x2 for Mac M1 Verbum though Logos same. I tried exactly doing your instructions on 1900 KJV ... both open and drag ... no luck (works right). I also tried Geneva.
Hopefully Graham will return.

Not really in this area!
My best guess is that it is some sort of driver issue with the Mac M series chip - either an interaction with Sonoma or with Logos.
We need someone from Logos to comment on this one.

I will also add that I just updated to the latest version of Mac OS Sonoma the other day and I never had this problem before that. This sometimes happens when you are an early adopter of a new update even though it is out of Beta. Most likely Logos just hasn't updated fully to the new Sonoma version. I think I will wait to update Mac OS in the future to avoid this problem. Hopefully they see this post and get it fixed quickly! Thank you both for trying to help!

Well if that's the case then the update is not the problem. Maybe I need to delete the Logos app and reinstall?

Ok so I logged out of the Logos app and I also logged out of my Logos account on the website then I deleted Logos on my Mac and then I resigned in on the website and downloaded Logos again and then signed in on the app. After that I restarted my Mac and it is still doing it. Just to be clear if anyone wants to try this. When I open up Logos I am at the Home Screen and then I click on the library icon and type in the search KJV1900 and then I double click on the module. Also could everyone check the table of contents in your bibles and see if some of the drop down arrows are missing or any other content for that matter?

Just did a clean install of MacOS and that didn't work either. It's a Logos problem.

Do you own the Reverse Interlinear or just the Bible text?

I tried that. Also I tried to match your view choices (no nav-bar, visual filter, etc). All works for me.
Years back, there was something similar and involved the icon manager (Logos). But if you re-installed, that couldn't be it.

Sorry but that didn't work and I doubt yours is truly fixed either because if you open other bibles such as the Geneva it does the same thing. It's a glitch in Logos bible software somewhere. As I stated earlier I have already done a clean install of Mac OS and reinstalled Logos and it still does it.

We don't yet know where the glitch lay. I am not experiencing this. Don appears to be experiencing it. We do know that it isn't fully isolated to you and your installation, but what the issue might be is still unknown.

Joshua,
I reported the exact same issue here few days ago, but did not get any attention, probably because I am in a different time zone. It happens in Mac Environment, and I provided the steps to recreate the problem consistently.
A workaround is to use the left/right cursor to move to the next Bible in the same parallel resource set, and move back.

I forgot to mention last night I have favorites folder on my menu bar of 16 Bibles, tried them all with no problem. Today I tried the 2 Geneva Bibles I have (one is a personal book), and re-tried KJV 1900, all is good so far. Deleting and re-downloading KJV 1900 fixed it for me. If you want me to check any other Bibles let me know their names.
