BUG: Indexer doesn't appear to start now but crashes
I closed Verbum;
I deleted the Indexer files to force a rebuild of the entire index;
I started Vebrum - Indexer does not appear to run - no icon in the menu bar
I exit Verbum - check the system log - crashed multiple times, Can't start?

Yes, Indexer won't start now - crashes every time!

I deleted all the library index files to force a reindex; I restarted my Mac; I run Verbum - the little blue circle turns on for 1/4 of a second and goes off. I exit, find it crashed 3 or 4 times, probably trying to start. This is a mess, I hope someone can help! I deleted all the log files before I restarted the Mac, to get all clean files. This last time when it ran, the indexer log has been created but length of 0 bytes. It can hardly even start and it must crash.
Here is just the Verbum log, there is a lot of strange stuff - metadata that won't download for instance. An ideas?

Does anyone have any ideas? I am dead in the water with no index and indexer won't run. 😢

We think we've found a fix for this problem. It should be shipping in an upcoming beta.

Awesome thank you Andrew! I uninstalled everything and loaded the latest non-beta to get running again. Is it safe to try the current beta again, or should I wait until it's fixed in a beta, Andrew?
PS - complete reindex worked fine on the latest production release. What was the issue, am I safe to use the latest beta?

A fix has not been shipped yet, so I would expect you to continue to see problems if you continue to run the current beta.
