iPad for preaching and teaching!

I am considering getting an iPad our church uses 2 iMac computers. I currently am using PowerPoint I will create the sermon with logos save as powerpoint and edit as needed. Use the keyboard on the Mac on a music stand to change slides. I am pretty sure that getting an iPad would be better and easier. I teach Sunday school once a month maybe more sometimes but at least once a month. I use two music stands currently one for paper notes and the keyboard and a Bible on the other one. The iPad could potentially replace all three or at least my notes and the keyboard. I am thinking about just using keynotes or proclaim instead of PowerPoint any thoughts on that would be greatly appreciated. For the iPad size which one would you recommend the 8” mini? The 11”? Or the 13”? And what model do you recommend for the regular iPad 10th? iPad air? iPad pro? Does anyone have experience with using any of the current iPad models in preaching and teaching? Thanks in advance for your help in this matter!

If you are using Logos Sermon Builder to create the text of your sermon, and if your church uses Proclaim, I would recommend exporting the sermon to Proclaim and then using Preaching Mode in Sermon Builder, on an iPad, to see the text of your sermon and to control the slides in Proclaim.
I have been doing this for several years and it works really well - I just use my iPad for this without any paper etc.

I have one of the earlier models - 10.5 inch - and it works fine for me. Personally I wouldn't want to use the 8" and the 13" is too big for what I want - but this is very much a matter of personal choice.

I don't have any experience of any of the later models - but they would all be very satisfactory.

I recently bought the iPad Air M2 2024 to run Logos. I did choose the 13” screen. Mostly for the fact of the layout. I usually have 3-4 tiles on one tab. I have had 8-10 tabs up and never once slowed down. The new Apple Pro pencil is a nice addition. Helps with my fat fingers. [:D]

If you use 'Powerpoint' for compiling the whole of the service then you will find that investment in Proclaim will save a great deal of time and effort over the medium term.

A three finger swipe on an iPad allows one to switch between various applications. Proclaim remote can, when my tech lady is on holiday, allow me to change slides for the songs. A simple swipe will bring up Logos Sermon Builder preaching mode. One more swipe will bring back the remote and the service continues.
I don't even have a music stand.
