Would It Not Be Easier to Just Offer a 2 Year Upgrade Option (Which is Really a 24 Month Subscriptio

Many customers seem to be concerned about or misunderstand 1) the subscription and 2) the two year fallback license.
You are already offering a monthly option and a 1 year subscription discount, so would it not be easier to add a 2 year option, but just call it an upgrade? It would just be an additional subscription period, but would guarantee people get the fall back license and clear up some of the confusion.
It also has the affect of making people feel like they are simply upgrading for two years as they have in the past (which they technically would be), and as they want to now. The only caveat is that you would need to make clear that at the end of two years they will lose access to the AI features.
This would seem like a win/win. This wouldn't affect the other subscription periods, but on paper, the 2 year subscription would feel more like an upgrade and guarantee the perpetual licenses for the non AI features so there's no chance that someone accidentally misses out if they accidentally cancel or some other confusion occurs.
It would, for all intents and purposes, be an upgrade for customers and a pre-paid subscription for Logos.

I agree with your point. The present 'situation' is confusing (a mess in my perspective, but granted, in process). At the moment, under a 2-year subscription, they'd want me to pay about $800 for $200 worth of L10 features (essentually double-pay), plus pig-in-a-poke future features.

Point taken, but at least under the discount for those who already own L10, wouldn't Max be $13x24, minus whatever discount you get for doing two years, say 4 months (I think you get a year subscription currently and pay for 10 months), which would turn out to be $260 for the 2-year upgrade?
I do understand that there is still some uncertainty for other users who do not own L10 and the full feature set or those on Connect subscriptions.

Just discussing, but a customer can be just inches away from 'L10' (they must have sold thousands of L10 packages that are not full L10). So, buy L10 rest of full-feature, plus the 24 mo subscribe is approx $500. About double the past, and pig-in-a-poke (unknown future value).
I still think they'll have to dynamic-price the subscriptions ... the combinatorial equation is too great for '3 levels' and not double-charge customers. Add all those foreign language packages. Or just accept, the old Logos is gone (pay once).
But your 24-month would be good for FF-L10'ers.

No, I agree. If they could somehow work out the pricing/dynamic pricing, I think it would alleviate some concerns, but yes, pricing would be an issue, particularly for those who don't have the L10 full feature set.
Maybe they could do a major sale on the L10 full feature set before the full launch of the subscriptions, but of course Logos is a business, and they don't want to lose money either.
