Vocab Lists
Is there a way in Logos 4 to create vocab lists of frequent words in a particular corpus. E.g., can I create a list of the 50 most common words occurring in the Greek NT? Peshitta? Hebrew OT? etc.
I thought I saw somewhere that this is coming at some point in Logos 4. Anyone know when?

Hopefully, even if not at first they will be much more than the L3 Vocab Lists but that would be a good start.....

On the "Features Coming Soon to Logos 4" list, there's a feature called "Vocabulary and word lists," scheduled for completion in Fourth Quarter 2010. I'm not positive this will be able to do word frequency lists over entire resources like that. I am guessing it will probably at least bring L4 up to parity with L3's vocabulary list feature, which lets you generate vocab lists for a passage of Scripture, and includes word frequencies of each within that passage, like this:
But I don't know if there's a way in L3 to sort or filter a vocab list by frequency. I can't find any. Perhaps that will be new functionality they add to the feature once it's brought into Logos 4, but that's only speculation. One can always request it. The Logos development team is very open to user suggestions.

Yea it can be done in Libroinx. Here's a quick screencast showing how. Once sorted you can also delete words form the list that you might not be intersted in, like kai simply by selecting the word and hitting delete.

Cool! Why didn't I think to right-click? I'm so looking forward to this feature coming to L4 now. I'd never used it before in L3 until Peter asked about it.
